In my line of work, I get to meet – and sometimes work with – a range of really talented people with exceptional minds, and Rhodri Davies is unquestionably one of the most interesting, insightful and prolific.
Head of Policy at the Charities Aid Foundation, Rhodri runs the internal thinktank Giving Thought, through which he explores emerging issues in philanthropy in a series of fascinating posts and interviews. Rhodri invited me onto the podcast to discuss a range of issues related to media and philanthropy – and was very forgiving of the fact that, due to connectivity issues at home, I had to do the interview from a nearby, and occasionally rather noisy, cafe.
